Super Visa Requirements

To apply for the Super Visa, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Invitation Letter from a child or grandchild who is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
  • Proof of Financial Support from the sponsor meeting the Low Income Cut-Off (LICO) minimum, demonstrated through one of the following:
    • Most recent Notice of Assessment.
    • Latest T4 or T1 tax documents.
    • Original employment letter stating job title, description, and salary.
    • Employment insurance pay stubs.
    • If self-employed, a letter from an accountant confirming annual income.
    • Proof of pension, investments, or other income sources.
  • Proof of Relationship to the Canadian citizen or permanent resident (e.g., birth certificate, baptismal certificate).
  • Private Medical Insurance coverage for at least one year from a Canadian insurance provider.
