1. Proof of Remote Worker Status – You must prove that you are a remote worker who can complete your job from Spain via an internet connection. There are no specific restrictions regarding the type of work, but you must demonstrate expertise through a university degree, professional certificate, or proof of three years of work experience.
2. Proof of Financial Self-Sufficiency – You need to demonstrate sufficient income to support yourself while living in Spain. The minimum income rate has been set at 200% of the Spanish minimum wage (€1,080).

An individual applying for the Spain Digital Nomad Visa must show earnings of at least:

1. • €2,160 per month or €25,920 per year
   • Family of 2 – €2,970 per month
   • Family of 3 – €3,240 per month
   • Family of 4 – €3,510 per month
2. Full Health Insurance – Applicants must obtain full health insurance for themselves and any family members for the duration of their proposed stay in Spain.
3. Clean Criminal Record – Provide a police clearance certificate (PCC) from the countries where you have lived in the last 5 years.
4. Minimum Stay – To be eligible, you should not have lived in Spain for the last five years. You cannot apply if you are currently in Spain illegally.
