Eligibility Requirements for the UAE Golden Visa

Must meet one of the following criteria:

Additional Conditions:

  • The investment should not be funded through loans and must be retained for at least three years.
  • Must provide proof of financial stability.
  • Must have an insurance plan covering themselves and their family.

For Entrepreneurs

  • Must own a startup or business worth at least AED 500,000.
  • Must have approval from a UAE-certified business incubator.
  • Must have health insurance coverage for self and family.

For Specialists (Scientists, Researchers, and Innovators)

  • Ph.D. holders with 20 years of experience in a specialized field.
  • Professors from top 500 international universities recognized by the UAE’s Ministry of Education.
  • Award-winning specialists who have made significant contributions in their field.
  • Scientists working in critical sectors beneficial to the UAE’s economy.

For Chief Executives

  • Must hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Must have a minimum of five years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Must earn a salary of at least AED 30,000 per month and have a valid employment contract.
  • Must have health insurance coverage for themselves and their family members.

For Inventors and Creative Professionals

  • Must have a patent approved by the UAE’s Ministry of Economy, proving its economic value.
  • Artists and professionals in culture and knowledge fields must be endorsed by the UAE’s Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development.
